The main reason I'm getting it is because I want better gas mileage for a new job where I will be driving about 150 miles three days a week. Most of these miles will be interstate miles, so I want something that can handle the interstate easily.

First Bike 900cc? I'm 21 6 ft' and I'm planning on getting either the Supersport or the new HyperMotard 950 (cause these fit my budget) This is also going to be my first bike and I'm not sure if I should be getting either of these monsters as my first bike having said that I have experience of riding a 125cc gearless scooter for the last 4 years.
